ROadwise takes your privacy seriously. Here's what data we process, why, and for how long.
Who we are
Autorijschool ROadwise ("ROadwise") is based at Drapenierlaan 123, 8043 AL Zwolle, the Netherlands. For questions about this statement or your data, contact us at info@roadwise.nl or 06 41 50 15 34.
What data we process
We process only what's needed to teach you safely and to guide your driving licence journey:
- Name, address, date of birth and contact details (phone, email).
- BSN (Dutch citizen number) for CBR registration, when legally required.
- Lesson results, progress notes and exam outcomes.
- Communication via email, phone and WhatsApp.
- Payment details (bank account number, invoicing).
Why we process it
- Performance of the lesson agreement: scheduling, teaching, billing.
- Legal obligation: registration with the CBR.
- Legitimate interest: administration, communication and service improvement.
How long we keep it
Lesson and progress data are kept for up to two years after completion. Financial data are kept for seven years (Dutch tax retention). After that, the data is destroyed.
Who we share with
Only with parties needed to provide our service: the CBR for exams, our accountant, and the providers of our theory and scheduling software. Processing agreements are in place with all of them. We never sell your data.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only functional and anonymised analytical cookies (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation). We do not set marketing cookies and do not share profile data with third parties.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, or request a data export. Email info@roadwise.nl and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
We store your data safely: encrypted connections, strong passwords, and access only for those who need it. In the event of a data breach we'll inform you and, where required, the supervisory authority.
